Adam Nagy eyeing Bristol City debut after making Bologna switch

Adam Nagy will go straight into the Bristol City squad for Saturday’s Championship trip to Birmingham after completing his move from Bologna.

The Hungary international midfielder has agreed a three-year deal with the Robins, with the club having the option of a further 12 months.

The 24-year-old, who has featured regularly in Serie A and has made 28 appearances for his country, becomes the Robins’ 11th signing of the summer.

City boss Lee Johnson told his club’s official website:

“We are really exciting about signing Adam.

“I’m delighted he has chosen us over a number of other possibilities and his energy and style of play will fit our team seamlessly.”

However, it is understood Johnson is set to miss out on another target, Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah, who is expected to join Leeds on loan.
