Everton to offer cash plus duo for Eagles ace
Everton are ready to offer Crystal Palace £65million plus Cenk Tosun and James McCarthy for Wilfried Zaha, reports have claimed.
Zaha’s future with the Eagles has been the subject of much speculation this summer, and it looks as though there could be one final twist in the story before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
Arsenal have been heavily linked, with reports claiming a switch to the Gunners would be a dream move for the player, but they failed to match Palace’s valuation.
Everton have since entered the running for his signature and have been working hard to get a deal done before the transfer window closes at 5pm on Thursday.
Again meeting Palace’s £80million valuation appears to be a problem, but Everton hope they may have found a way around it. Everton believe by offering £65million and the two players, it goes well above Palace’s valuation, and they hope it will be enough to get a deal done.
Zaha would also have to agree to the switch and personal terms so the clock is ticking for Everton to get him on board.
